Cannes Day Seven - 14 May 2018
Today was yet another train strike day. We got to Cannes around lunch time. We had lunch and I had another baguette sandwich, and honestly, I am really tired of baguettes. But, I guess all that matters is that they are filling and give me some energy. After that, we walked to the Arcade theatre to watch El Angel (The Angel) directed by Luis Ortega. I was really looking forward to this movie for a couple of days, and it definitely lived up to the expectations. I really loved it. The cinematography and music was excellent and the story was so interesting. After that, we spent some time at the American Pavilion. Our plan was to go see the Serbian film called The Load, but we ended up getting on a train back. Since there were strikes, we would have had to spend money on an uber, and none of us wanted to spend money. It was definitely a tiring day, but it was a good day!
